After School Rānui Library

🙋‍♀️ The Rānui afterschool programme is one of Reconnect’s regular events this year! Every week our members and volunteers spend time with the kids at Rānui Library.

🙋‍♂️Reconnect hopes to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the kids so we can create memories together! We want to do this by being their ‘friends’ and not their ‘teachers’. It’s a rewarding experience for us too, because, more often than not, we end up receiving a lot more compared to what we give! The kids remind us what it’s like to be ‘pure’ - and we all know we’ve lost that pureness somewhere along our adult lives. 😭😭

We’re confident that this connection we have with the kids is contributing to a better world. We want to share this amazing, loving experience with you! Come join us as a volunteer 💙
