Reconnect is a charity focused on the wellbeing of youth.
Our mission is to empower youth to care for themselves and others, strengthening communities and bridging gaps in overlooked areas.
Our Projects
Our Goal
Reconnect is promoting and strengthening youth mental health support by equipping young people with creative self-care tools, providing safe spaces for reflection, and building networks of support that reach across schools, communities, and families.
Our Impact
Youth Reach
Engaged with over 40 youth to reflect on personal and community wellbeing. Received 14 creative self-care tool submissions from high school youth across Auckland.
Collaboration & Partnerships
Working alongside Auckland Council, Henderson Library, Epsom Library, Westlake Girls’ High School, Green Bay High School, St Dominic’s College, Pakuranga and Lynfield College.
Supported by mental health professionals including Asian Health Services and Youthline.
Community & Organisational Support
Backed by local organisations such as Gongcha, Ooh!Media, and select McDonald’s branches. Creating stronger community awareness and access to youth wellbeing resources
